Omg, I’m late to sharing but had to post about the amazing Dermstore Anniversary Sale that is happening right now — today is actually the last day!  So many of my favorite beauty brands are up to 25% off right now (code CELEBRATE) and with the changing seasons, it’s the perfect time to stock up on beauty essentials as well as even try out a couple new products.

Dermstore has been one of my go-to retailers for several years now as they are one of the most reputable when it comes to providing professional-grade skincare from brands that I previously had only been able to find in dermatologists’ offices.  Dermstore guarantees authenticity (something you cannot get if you buy off sites like Amazon) and has even won the Bizrate Platinum Circle of Excellence award for over ten years with their customer service.

Read on for a roundup of my must-buy skincare recommendations included in the Dermstore Anniversary Sale!

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant

The Dermalogica Microfoliant was my very first introduction to professional-grade skincare back in college, and I still remember how much of a splurge it was for me on my poor college-student budget.  But, my skin was going through major hormonal acne from what I now realize was adrenal fatigue and the Dermalogica Microfoliant was an absolute lifesaver.  The colloidal calms any sort of redness / inflammation while the licorice evens out skin tone. I still use this product religiously about 3x a week and it’s the best product when it comes to a gentle exfoliant that leaves your skin noticeably smoother and brighter!

TULA Glow & Get It Eye Balm

I have THE WORST undereye circles and this is a product that makes a big difference and is so easy to use even on the go!  I oftentimes will swipe this eye balm and not even worry about undereye concealer as I find that the brightness this eye balm adds is enough.  There is also added caffeine to tighten fine lines and I really love that it’s enriched with probiotic extracts so I’m doing something good for my skin too!

TULA Protect + Glow Sunscreen

The TULA Protect + Glow has become my favorite sunscreen as I love how lightweight and non-greasy the product feels on my skin plus the fact that it gives my skin the most beautiful glow!  It blends in without leaving any sort of white cast, has a fruity tropical scent, and even protects against dangerous blue light emitted from technology screens.

Epionce MelanoLyte Pigment Perfecting Serum

I had pretty bad melasma after each of my pregnancies and it wasn’t until I went to a particular dermatologist that specialized in melasma that I was able to get to a better place with it.  I went in initially for a Pico4 laser treatment consultation but he instead recommend that I try a combination of Epionce products first.  That duo was the Epionce MelanoLyte Pigment Perfecting Serum followed by the Epionce MelanoLyte Tx Brightening Serum.

The Epionce MelanoLyte line is truly a gamechanger and I love that it’s hydroquinone free so safe for long-term use.  The Pigment Perfecting Serum is lightweight and I used it nightly for about 3 months when I saw a pretty dramatic difference!  I actually never ended up needing the Pico4 laser treatment!

Epionce MelanoLyte Tx Brightening Lotion

The dermatologist really reinforced the fact that I needed to use the Epionce MelanoLyte Tx Brightening Lotion in tandem with the Epionce MelanoLyte Pigment Perfecting Serum.  I’m not sure what it is about this combination but I will say that after following those instructions for a few months, I did my melasma has significantly lightened!

SkinMedica HA5 Hydrator

I had a skin scan done at the dermatologist’s office a couple years ago and one of the main issues that it noticed was lack of hydration around my cheeks.  The doctor recommended the SkinMedica HA5 Hydrator and it’s a product that works almost instantly to plump up the skin.  The HA5 Rejuvenating Hydrator is unique in that it blends 5 different types of hydrators and balances your skin’s moisture levels.  This is a product that works on all skin types and highly recommend if you’re noticing skin texture issues and crepey skin in general (mine is especially bad under my eyes!).

Sunday Riley LUNA Sleeping Oil

If you’re looking for a retinol serum that gives results yet also has added ingredients that soothe and brighten, this Luna serum from Sunday Riley is pretty amazing.  The serum is lightweight and actually comes out blue as a result of the Blue Tansy ingredient addition that ends up rubbing clear.  I personally like to layer this serum with the Elemis Pro-Collagen Rose Oil below as I find that together, I wake up with super soft and youthful skin!

Elemis Pro-Collagen Rose Oil

The entire Elemis Pro-Collagen line is amazing but I especially love this rose oil as it has a very light almond scent that doesn’t feel greasy and leaves my skin actually feeling nourished.  I do one drop on each cheek following retinol and it’s enough to cover my entire face!

Dermalogica Smart Response Serum

I started using the Dermalogica Smart Response Serum about 3 months ago and all I can say is: WOW.  This product now ranks right up there with my fave Dermalogica Microfoliant and I can tell a huge difference in how my skin looks and feels when I put this on.  I wasn’t quite sure how the “smart response” aspect would work, but as someone who has a combination of various skin issues (dry around my cheeks with hyperpigmentation issues, oilier around my nose with tendency for redness on either side, and wrinkles on my upper nose and forehead), I felt like the Dermalogica Smart Response Serum really did help address many of those issues upon application!

I only use this serum in the daytime under my moisturizer but I love how lightweight the product feels and that it seems to absorb within a few seconds.  The tightness that I usually feel on my cheeks is gone, as is the redness around my nose, plus I like knowing that I’m doing something to help combat my hyperpigmentation as well as I now use this serum instead of Vitamin C!
