Last Monday, on a whim, I decided to try taking some daily style snaps and suddenly found myself with a full week of outfits. I shared these in my stories each day but thought I’d put them on the blog too in case you missed them or need some ideas for the week ahead.
I’m usually a stickler for lighting and details in my outfit photos but I ended up really enjoying this spur of the moment, iPhone-only method. These daily captures also served as incentive to pull myself together each morning, which I believe is one of the most important steps towards a positive and productive WFH mindset.
I’ve kept the copy short on these but I hope you’ll enjoy a peek into my daily style and will perhaps glean an idea or two for your own!

MONDAY – 4/20
Monday was FRIGID here in Guelph so I had my turtleneck, socks, long cardigan and slippers all working to keep me cozy at my desk.
On another whim earlier this month, I decided to cut the hem off of these 90’s Cheeky Jeans and I really like the frayed edge they’ve developed. They’re now the perfect vintage jeans without having been near impossible to find.
OUTFIT SOURCES: LONG CARDIGAN n/a (I linked to a great option that’s handmade made in Canada and quite reasonably priced, shown below as well.) // RIBBED TURTLENECK (wearing a S) // 90’s CHEEKY JEANS wash n/a (wearing a 26) // SOCKS // SLIPPERS (I sized up 1/2 size) // HASKELL FRAMES
TUESDAY – 4/21
Went classic on Tuesday with another pair of jeans I’m loving, my favourite ribbed bodysuit and a cozy cardigan. I’ve been buttoning just the top button on this sweater and quite enjoy how it looks over a crew neck base layer.
Freshly washed hair and a pair of hoops were just what I needed to feel presentable. Don’t underestimate the mood boosting power of a shower!
WEDNESDAY – 4/22
Wednesday had a Parisienne flare with stripes, pearls and a bright red lip. I guess I was really on a denim kick because I ended up in my go-to skinny jeans.
This long cardigan sweater and my grey slippers are probably the two most worn items in my entire closet. I wear this sweater every morning and the classic wool Kyrgies are always just the right amount of toasty for my perpetually cold feet.
OUTFIT SOURCES: OPEN CARDIGAN old (linked to similar option) // STRIPED TOP old (linked to another favourite) // HIGH RISE SKINNY JEANS (TTS wearing a 27) // SLIPPERS gifted years ago (fit is TTS) // THRILLEST LIP COLOUR // NOEMI PEARL EARRINGS (made in Toronto)
FOR CONFERENCE CALLS
I had a few conference calls this day so I swapped my cardigan for a blazer and slippers for loafers to encourage a more professional mindset. It worked! Then the second my calls were over, I just swapped them back out for the afternoon.
THURSDAY – 4/23
I didn’t quite make it out of my gym clothes on Thursday but that’s okay since I actually did get a workout in. Possibly my most significant accomplishment all week haha.
The fabric is a blend of smooth Tencel, comfy cotton and a touch of spandex, which makes for an incredibly soft and cozy material. The fresh creamy colour is just perfectly off-white and the relaxed fit is very comfortable. I have a small and it’s roomy enough to layer easily. My favourite part is the subtle crossover detail at the neckline that gives it an ever so slightly elevated feel. Safe to say I’m a hoodie convert now!
FRIDAY – 4/24
During the week I’d been styling and shooting a post featuring my favourite button ups and couldn’t help but wear my Friend shirt with my cozy wool Andy’s once the photos were done.
Hot water with lemon has been my go to beverage lately as I try to ease back on the caffeine (relatively unsuccessfully). I pretty much always like to have something warm and comforting to sip while I work.
OUTFIT SOURCES: FRIEND SHIRT gifted (wear XS) Stay tuned for a special discount tomorrow! // ANDY PANT WOOL gifted n/a (this pair has a similar cut in a summer friendly fabric, I wear a 4) // SLIPPERS (I sized up 1/2 size) // KATE HOOPS // STARDUST LIP COLOUR // TORTOISE FRAMES
SATURDAY – 4/25
I’d worn this look earlier in the month and loved how the creams in different textures paired together, so I figured why not repeat it? It was wonderfully warm on Saturday so I got to sit outside in the sunshine without a coat.
OUTFIT SOURCES: GASPARD CARDIGAN gifted (wearing a S) // ELLA TANK discontinued (linked to similar from ES and I found more options here and here) // SILK FLORENCE PANT (Wearing M Reg) // SLIPPERS (I sized up 1/2 size) // TORTOISE FRAMES
SUNDAY – 4/26
As I sit and type this out I am indeed wearing this very outfit. This beautiful robe was a very special edition to my closet and while it’ll be getting it’s own post soon, I just couldn’t wait any longer to share it. It was gifted for an upcoming collaboration with Toronto-based loungewear line, Soft Focus.
I’d been looking for the perfect blend between a robe and a housecoat and this ticked all the right boxes! It’s made of a beautifully fluid Tencel that feels like a dream on the skin and moves like silk.
OUTFIT SOURCES: CLASSIC ROBE & CAMI gifted (wearing XS/S) Made in Toronto (10% OFF with STAYSOFT10) // SILK FLORENCE PANT (Wearing M Reg) // SLIPPERS (I sized up 1/2 size) // HASKELL FRAMES // SLIPPERS (I sized up 1/2 size) // STARDUST LIP COLOUR
THANKS FOR TUNING IN!
Let me know if you enjoyed this type of outfit round up and I’ll try to keep them coming!
See you tomorrow with some more WFH looks using two of my all-time favourite spring shirts (+ a special discount!).
