Tool in Action
For me, family is the most important thing in this world. However, as my kids get older, I get less and less time with them, less family time, as they are in sports, hanging with friends, and more. So anything I can do to bring us all together is always a good thing. Below are just some of the things we do as a family or ways to bring the family together.

- Description – I don’t understand this gift but people love it. Nothing like saying let’s have a great time with melted chocolate and marshmallows and fire (actually it’s electric, flameless heat) inside the house. For reference, it’s just under a foot wide, so a decent size.

- Description – One of the best card games. We have been playing this for years. The game is quick, easy to learn, and fun. We have made our own adjustments. We like this game so much that we are already on our 3rd deck of cards because the other ones wore out.

- Description – I never bought one and do not have any desire but people love these. Myself, I know my family tree. If I take this all it will do is allow the Feds to trace DNA back to a family member and make an arrest. OK, I am just joking about that but this is a cool way to discover your family history.

- Description – Catan is a great game. I received this as a gift from my brother. My oldest son loves this game but my youngest doesn’t like it. So most of the time it’s just my wife, oldest son, and myself playing. The game can take up to an hour to play but it’s extremely fun and there is a strategy with a little luck involved. However I am very competitive and tend to get beat by my son, so it doesn’t always end well. I end up complaining most of the time, but it’s still fun.
