Here’s a quick recap of the games…
Your next game night will be a blast for the whole family! In Double Ditto, players take turns being the “Ditto Master” by reading a cue card out to the group. Players are encouraged to be quick and witty to write down two answers they think others will write down.
Players then read their answers aloud and call “ditto!” as they match a card with another player, and “double ditto” if both answers match up! It is perfect for ages 10 and up, and four or more players can play at a time.
“I LOVE word games and this one was fast-paced and right up my alley! Plus, it makes for a great group/friends game since you’re trying to think alike. It would be a great way to break the ice around a new group too! 😊” – Chelsey, Hip Sidekick
Designed for 2 to 6 players, Don’t Go Boom can be played in about 25 minutes. The objective of the game is to get the lowest score in 3 rounds by totaling up the numbers on each player’s minefield cards. Watch out for Big Bad Bomb cards though, because they’re worth a whopping 15 points each.
Recommended for kiddos age 7 & up, this game is a great way to ditch the phones or tablets and it may even help improve their counting and math skills.
“Our family had a blast playing Don’t Go Boom! It was so much fun. It took a practice round to get it figured out, but once we did it was hilarious to watch. My boys are super competitive so this was the perfect game for them. This will be a fun game to play when we have friends over or on family game nights. We’re looking forward to playing again.” – Melissa, Hip Sidekick
Don’t just take our word for it, reviewers also enjoy playing these games…
I gave Double Ditto to my daughter’s family for Christmas three years ago. They consider themselves “gamers” and have a closet full of games. Well, my daughter brought it (along with more of their favorite games), in its unopened box to our family reunion this summer, and after it was opened, twenty of us enjoyed playing it over & over for hours! It was perfect for our big group, ages ranging from 10 to 75. Definitely a hit!
I’m a game collector and love family game nights. Some of our favorite games are from Inspiration Play so I was excited to try their newest game. Don’t Go Boom is so much fun! It reminds me a little of SkyJo (which we love) but with a few fun twists which add to the strategy and I think make it even more fun! So far, we’ve played with 3 players and 6 players and had a blast with both groups. It’s super easy to teach to others and I feel like the length of time that the game takes is perfect. The cards and box are really good quality, the artwork is fun, and the game is compact so it’s easy to take places. I would highly recommend this game. In fact, I’m planning to buy several to give as Christmas gifts this year!
