My husband and I play Scrabble at home and on trips, and we have had two travel sets. A few months ago, when our letter tiles had worn on the backs or dwindled to the point that we had too many Z’s and not enough E’s, it became clear that a replacement was necessary. Our new Travel Scrabble is just like its predecessors, which is perfect. The zippered case is sturdy, and comes with a score pad. The tile holders are convenient and easily stored inside the case. Raised borders on the board hold tiles so securely that it can be folded or tipped without any of them dropping out. The tiles themselves are clearly marked, and the back tabs, which are the most vulnerable parts, are more sturdy than those in both of our former sets. For Scrabble lovers, this is a real value, and comes highly recommended!
